Adelaide Herald May 2000 - Southern Cross Visual supplied and installed the new tripod poles and signage for the Adelaide Library, Theatre and Art Gallery. Gary Pedler, originally from Adelaide, headed up the interstate "Special Project". Coordination of the project was administered via the Sydney office with far less hiccups than expected.

Doublet receives the Olympic contract for Sydney. The unmentionable seems to
have occurred, however, SCV is Doublet's Australian Partner. This is all hush
hush, as it the Olympic contract, which we are not allowed to discuss, even as

In 1996 - SCV manufactures the largest Australian flag in the world
for the Winfield Cup Grand final. The flag is a whopping 120 x 60 metres and
covers the entire oval. Another entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for
SCV

In 1995 - Southern Cross Flags supplied these for the Vietnam
Veterans March. There were over 5000 polished timber marching poles with full
size 1800 x 900 mm Australian National Flags mounted on them. " George
Street Sydney was a wash with the colours of red white and blue "

During the Australian Bicentenary, we produced over a staggering
100 thousand flags forthe event. A further 10 thousand metres of streamers (bunting) and nearly half a million handwavers (hand held flags). |

In 1986 Southern Cross Flags entered the Guiness Book of World
records for producing the Largest Australian Flag on record.....19.8 metres x

We produced the largest Naval Flag in the world for the Royal
Australian Navy who turned 75 in 1986. Commodore Thomson arranged for the flag
to fly under the helicopter as a publicity awareness exercise
