Common sense should prevail
where there are unique or difficult articles to pack and or transport. Certain
articles require specific packaging and these should be packaged for transport
as is considered the industry standard. |
|
|
In the case of flags, all
articles are to be packed or wrapped in clearly marked plastic bags with the
stock code, number of articles contained within the bag or indicative marking
clearly visible. Direct placement into boxes may be acceptable where there is
need to access the articles for the likes of installation for example. |
|
|
Flagpoles are to be packaged
in a fashion suitable for the transportation. If they are to be delivered to
one address no farther than 100 kilometres from the manufacturer, they may be
delivered unpacked, however, if the delivery address is further they need to be
wrapped in some plastic or other protective coating such as cardboard tubing. |
|
|
Banners made of fabric or
vinyl may be rolled in a fashion so as the imaged side does not stick or
scratch. If they require powdering, or tissue paper to be placed between each
banner than this is to be supplied. |
